Len is an instructor at Marymount Manhattan College’s art department, a member of The Art Students League, The Philadelphia Art Alliance, The Coast Guard Art Program, and The Air Force Association. Len was designated Master Artist at the 1998 Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual exhibit. Now living in Manhattan, NYC, Len often visits Republic, MacArthur and Gabreski airports. Working in a variety of mediums including oil paint, watercolor, conte crayon/charcoal, pastel, and oil pastel, he depicts landscape, still life, marine themes and figures with equal enthusiasm. Prior to attending the Art Students League for seven years, Len studied at the School of Visual Art, the Woodstock School of Art and attended workshops at the Pastel Society of America. In addition to the Salmagundi Club, his work has been exhibited across the country.
