Douglas Castleman is an artist. He also works as a freelance illustrator, painter, and graphic/web designer. He enjoys painting representational art using various media, usually oil or watercolor. Many of his paintings have been sold to people around the country and Europe. Douglas specializes in aviation and landscape subjects. He has an art degree from California State University, Northridge and a computer graphic degree and a multi-media degree from Platt College, Cerritos, California. He is a member of several art associations, including the Los Angeles Art Association and the American Society of Aviation Artists as an Artist Member. He has won numerous awards for his art from the various associations. Douglas has had four solo exhibitions in the Los Angeles area. Some of his art has been published, most notably in the book, The Best of Watercolor.
