Alison Boyle artist member

Although Alison Boyle has been an artist for
many years, she was only introduced to aviation art in 2002 after painting a
gift for her army officer husband. Taking advantage of the unique opportunity
and permission to observe military aircraft closely, she uses her eye for detail
and the critique of the pilots to capture and create authentic paintings. She is
profoundly moved by stories told by her husband and fellow aviators, many of who
have recently served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Her work has been exhibited in solo shows in the United
States, Guatemala, and Germany, and accepted in numerous juried shows
internationally. She has also been commissioned by various military units for
personalized artwork.
